Happiness Is…
October 12, 2016
Happiness is a feeling of contentment that life is just as it should be. Perfect happiness, enlightenment, comes when you have all of your needs satisfied. Happiness has a lot of different ways to be described; it just depends on that certain individual.
From the information I gathered from different age groups, I’ve just about got a good understanding of what happiness means to everyone. Some say happiness is to be healthy physically and maintain healthy relationships, also to live your life to the fullest, be expressive about life and realize that it’s too short to waste any time on nonsense or foolishness.
To get deeper into it, to be happy is to be in a good mental state which means a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.
Happiness can come from being surrounded by family and loved ones, the feeling warms your heart.
Happiness doesn’t have to be an object or a person it can be created by doing something or being in a certain environment.
Happiness varies from different age groups, for example: kids happiness might be their toys or candy, teens could be electronics, and elders could be a new car or home. Something you love can be your happiness; there is no right or wrong about what can make an individual happy.
My happiness is my family/ friends, doing everything in my power to make my future successful, money, and living life every day to the fullest extent. Also, happiness to me is putting smiles on everyone’s face; I always try to make people laugh or smile.
