Hillcrest Announces “Snowcoming 2016”
As President of the Executive Board for Student Council, I am proud to announce that Snowcoming 2016 will be themed “Frozen In Time!” Snowcoming will take place January 19th through 23rd culminating in the Saturday evening dance with colors of: white, blue, and silver. Student Council is aiming to capture the Frozen feel though a little more mature than the actual movie.
The following are the spirit days:
Monday: NO SCHOOL
Tuesday: White Out Day (Snowbrawl will take place that day, and our Hawk’s jerseys are white, so we are asking all of YOU to come in white! Tickets go on sale the week before Snowcoming.)
Wednesday: Oh No You Didn’t Day (Come dressed in outfits that make jaws drop and people shocked)
Thursday: Stereotype Day (Come in with the stereotype that people brand you as, or you can be daring and come in a completely different stereotype)
Friday: Bleed Blue (Come in your Hawks gear or blue in general)
Saturday: Snowcoming Dance (7:00 P.M. -10 P.M. in the main gym)
We are asking our Hillcrest Family to show support in every day this spirit week. Things to look out for will include: the cafeteria games during the lunch periods, the ticket sells for the Snowbrawl and dance, and the new DJ that we are having!!! There will be multiple prizes given for those that participate in the spirit days so be on the lookout. In order to make this a very successful week, we need YOUR support.
