On Friday, October 28th, the Hillcrest Football team (7-2) continued its historic season with a 28-27 victory over Glenbard South High School (5-4) at home.

Junior Dakari Smith (#28) rushed for two touchdowns while Senior James Lipscomb connected with Marcus Garrett for a passing touchdown. The Hawks ended the game by denying the Raiders a 2-point conversion with less than two seconds left on the clock.

The Hawks, now 8-2, will travel to Woodstock next Friday, November 4th at 7:00 P.M. to take on the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (6-4) in the 2nd round of the playoffs.
