Hawks Girls Tennis Extends Streak to Five

Congratulations to the varsity Hawk tennis team for running their win streak to 5 matches before dropping a tough one to Marian catholic.
Courtney Hollis and Lilyanna Hinkle came through with big wins at singles Saturday against Morgan Park Academy in the first match. In the second match against Tinley Park, Amari Anderson and Nailah Brown won at second doubles while Courtney Hollis again came through at first singles to provide for the team win.
In the closing match, Kayla Weddington and Mia Jones trounced Marian at first doubles, solidifying their spot as the favorite for the number one seed at state sectionals.
The Hawks take on Southland Prep today at home.
