Congratulations to the varsity Hawk tennis team on picking up their 6th win in their last 7 matches: defeating Southland Prep 4-1.

Leading the way were Sami Davis and Tyler Allen at third doubles, followed by Mia Jones and Kayla Weddington at first doubles. After a slow start, Downtown Nailah Brown and Amari Anderson charged through at second doubles and Lilyanna Hinkle closed it out with a thrilling win at second singles.

The Frosh/Soph team also was victorious over Southland with a 5-0 win. Picking up wins for the Hawks were Rafiat Yarrow at first singles and Jasmine Washington and Lydia Wooden at first doubles.
