Girls XC Advances to Sectional Championships

Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country team on advancing to the Wheaton Academy Sectional Championships next Saturday.
The team placed 4th as a team at the Thornridge Regional.
The Hawks were led by ALL-REGION runner Jasmine Curry who placed 5th overall–she ran her best race of the year.
However, Jasmine was not the whole story–Hillcrest had outstanding races from Darlene Moore-Jones, DaShonda Johnson, Zanea Hughes, Tehya Allen and Jamiah Bell. For the second week in a row, the girls ran their personal best times.
