Congratulations to the following boys track athletes on their performance at the IHSA 2A Sectional Meet Thursday night and earning a 2A Sectional Medal:

• Kyle Mayo 5th place in the 4x400M Relay
• Devion Mercer 5th place in the 4x400M Relay
• Gabe Are 5th place in the 4x400M Relay and 4th place in the High Jump
• Dakari Smith qualifies for State in the 100M for the second year in a row.
• Austin Beckon runs a personal best qualifying to state in the 100M.
• Last but not least, sophomore sensation James Edgecombe 5th place in the 4x400M Relay and captures 1st place and becomes the 800M Champion, also breaking the Hillcrest sophomore 800M record while becoming the 1st sophomore in Hillcrest history to make it to state in the 800M.
