The Hillcrest High School Girls Cross Country team had their best performance of the season so far at T.F. North yesterday: placing 2nd overall with  five runners placing in the top 12.

The Hawks were led by senior Zenea Hughes (2nd place), Michele Mims (5th place), Vashi Black (6th place), Tahya Allen (8th place), and Jennah Richard (12th place). Also performing well was Justice Curry.  All the Hawk runners turned in their personal best times of the year.

On the Frosh/Soph level, the results were outstanding.  The Hillcrest runners were led by Mia Fairley (1st place), Brady Givens (2nd place), and Taya Lewis (3rd place).  Other outstanding performances were turned in by Gloria Agblami and Aniya Mattews. Like at the varsity level, all Frosh/Soph Hawk runners put up their personal best times.
