Everyone is Talking About The Night Agent
May 5, 2023
What if I told you that there was a show that was a mix of Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder? Would you believe me? A show that shocked everyone with how interesting it is?
On March 23, 2023 Netflix released The Night Agent, a show that I believe is a perfect mix of both of those shows. Netflix never fails to bring us an interesting show and this one was no exception. It is action packed, heartfelt, and will definitely have you at the edge of your seat.
Peter Sutherland is a low-level FBI Agent that is given a job manning the phone that “never rings” in the basement of the White House. One night that phone rings, and it’s a call from Rose that she was instructed to do by her aunt and uncle that were just killed. Peter has to protect Rose all while the two have to untangle a conspiracy in the White House and uncover the mole.
Every time they get closer to the truth someone is killed. They don’t know who to trust and end up putting their faith in one of the bad guys. The show also follows Chelsea Arrington who is the head of the security detail for Maddie Redfeild (the daughter of the Vice President). Maddie gets herself in a horrible situation that could’ve ended her life, but Chelsea is always there to protect her. You would think that there is no drama, but their story is just as action packed and aids to find the truth amidst all the controversy. The truth is uncovered, but it doesn’t come without a lot of sacrifices.
Being that I am a show connoisseur, I was very excited to see that Netflix had released a new show. It was a type of show that we haven’t seen from Netflix in a while. I loved meeting the new characters and going along for the ride as the characters worked to uncover and hide the truth. I would definitely recommend this show to everyone and it has a little bit of everything in it for everyone. This show is action packed, heartfelt, and will definitely make you laugh a couple of times.
The Night Agent has already been approved for a second season, and is still on the Top 10 list on Netflix. The real question is: Will you be watching it?
