One Final Trip Together

This week on April 23, 2024 the Senior class took one final class trip to Downtown Chicago. We went to the Museum of Illusions and then a River Boat Cruise at Navy Pier.

Before going into the museum, me and my friends went to grab breakfast at Starbucks. When entering the museum there was a lot to do and it was very interactive and engaging. There was a room where 2 people stood on either side and one person looked big and the other one looked small. There was also a room where it looked like you were leaning when taking the picture. Overall it was a fun place to visit with my friends and the senior class.

Afterwards we got back on the bus and headed to Navy Pier where we boarded the cruise boat. It was a 2 hour boat ride around the city and we had a nice lunch and had a great Dj.

For lunch we had baked chicken, baked macaroni, string beans, build your own tacos, and a salad. We also had cookies and brownies for dessert with a variety of drinks. We also danced and went on the outside of the boat and took amazing pictures.

After the boat ride was over, we walked around the Pier and overall just had fun with it being our “last time” having a group hangout with the senior class.

Overall this trip was fun because it gave me what we did not get in 8th grade.

I’m grateful for the planning of Ms. K and Coach Keith because they made this trip possible for the class of 2024.
