Hillcrest Art Classes Create During Remote Learning Time
May 21, 2020
Members of Mrs. Jamilah Adebesin Mason’s art classes used their time during Remote Learning to demonstrate their creativity as a form of art therapy.
Drawing and Painting I: Students were to create a self expression art piece depicting their emotions at the current time.
Drawing and Painting II: Students were to portray themselves as caricatures.
Studio Art: Students were to turn themselves into an animal according to the results of a test. Some students participated in a Your Choice assignment focused on their own artistic aesthetic.
Digital Photography: Students focused on various studio/natural lighting techniques to create self portraits or images of family in royal poses.
AP Studio Art: Students are currently working to complete their AP Portfolios.
Graphic Design: Students created Album covers, Movie Posters and personal graphic art pieces.
