Bremen High School District 228 Communication Arts & Technology Students Compete in the 24th Annual Midwest Media Educations Association Video Festival!

5-4-2017: Bremen High School District 228 Communication Arts & Technology Team at the 2017 Midwest Media Educations Association Video Festival

Bremen High ​​School District 228’s Communication Arts and Technology program recently attended the 24th annual Midwest Media Educators Association Video Festival which was held at Nequa Valley High School in Naperville, IL. Brandon Boyce(TPHS) placed 1st in the Dramatic Narrative category for his short film “While It Lasts.” Rana Al-Sheikh (TPHS), Tyler Baker (OFHS), Brandon Boyce (TPHS), Billy Johnson (HHS), Jarrett Kenebrew (HHS), Johnathan McCord (HHS), Ronan Morrissey (OFHS), Richard Sanchez (OFHS) and Marcus Swan (HHS) placed 3rd in the 7 Minute Film Challenge category for “3.14 The Movie”. Maria Cardenas (BHS) was a Finalist in the Movie Trailer category. Chaleisa Butler (HHS) and Marcus Swan (HHS) were also Finalists in the News Program category for “Millennial Monthly.”
