Hillcrest High School students visited Joliet Junior College‘s new culinary arts facility at the Joliet City Center recently.   The students toured five floors of culinary classrooms and labs all specific to learning essential skills needed in the industry.  The Hawk students were served culinary samples on each floor.

All treats were prepared by current students in the JJC Culinary Arts and Baking/Pastry programs.  The field trip offered the Hillcrest students a glimpse at a local state-of-the-art culinary school.

Several of the students expressed their desire to attend the school after the tour.
