WHAT’S NEXT FOR THE MCU?

Mariah Bates, Staff Writer

After a bittersweet ending to the infinity saga, the world Is on the edge of their seats for what’s next for the marvel cinematic universe.

This biggest question: What will MCU phase 4 look like?

We all know the infinity saga carried 22 amazing movies and fans have high hopes for what’s yet to come.

“It’s a time of change and upheaval in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The conclusion of Avengers: Endgame definitively closes the book on Iron Man, and more or less does the same for Captain America. Thor may stick around in some capacity or pop up in other franchises. Black Widow is dead. New stars like Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, and even Valkyrie have connected with audiences and are set to carry the torch set down by Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, and others. But then there are all the new projects that have been announced, from film to TV, all of which are going to explore different corners of this brave new MCU.”

The new Marvel sequels set to come out between 2021-2023 are: Captain marvel 2, black panther 2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Spider-man 3, and Doctor Strange 2.

Aside from the sequels we will also get some new origin stories and even more new faces on the big screen like: The Eternals, Shang-chi, Loki, Black Widow, WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Hawkeye.

The “rest of the MCU seems primed to take the next step in the franchise’s evolution. Feige told MTV News in July 2019 that a new Avengers lineup will emerge eventually, but that it will be a ‘very different team than we’ve seen before.’”

After the releases of Wandavision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier, I personally can’t wait for what’s to come!
