Many of you all might already know Travon as he is very well known throughout Hillcrest not only for his athletic talent but also for his friendly nature.

Travon has never had trouble making friends and has always been kind and respectful to others, which draws people to him. He is even in the running to win prom king this year.

Travon is a triplet, the middle of two other brothers, all of whom are athletically gifted (all three earned all-conference honors this past football season); however, Travon stands out. His on-field production and athletic talents earned him multiple offers and awards from various universities. He has committed to Saint Xavier University where he will be playing with current teammates Ryan Butler and myself. I look forward to seeing what he will accomplish on the field come fall.

Although he is a standout on the field, he is also no slouch in the classroom either: an honors student who posted a 4.0 gpa and over a thousand SAT score. He especially excels at mathematics. Lee will be majoring in criminal justice at Saint Xavier University with the goal of being a police officer in the future. He will be a fine police officer and will definitely continue to make his parents proud.

“’I love helping people, and want to make a difference in my community.’’ Lee said.

The future is bright for this young man; he is definitely going one of Hillcrest’s finest and sets a fine example for the underclassman to follow. He is a great leader on and off the field, and I am glad I can help him get the recognition he deserves. He has always been a great friend to me and helped me in my times of need. I look forward to sharing the field with him again at the collegiate level, and can’t wait to see the things we accomplish at our time at the university.
