Alex and Lily found themselves seated next to each other at a work conference. At first, they were both shy, but as the conference continued, they discovered that they shared similar interests and began talking more and more. They spent all their free time together, exploring the city and discovering new places to eat and drink. As the conference came to a close, they exchanged phone numbers and promised to keep in touch.

Over the next few weeks, they kept in touch and continued to make plans to meet up whenever they could. Even though they lived in different cities, they both knew that they had found a special connection with each other that they wanted to hold onto. Alex and Lily’s chance encounter turned out to be the beginning of a beautiful friendship that brought joy and laughter into their lives, and they both felt grateful for the serendipitous moment that brought them together.

Now, would you have guessed that the whole story had been written by artificial intelligence? AI has been around for quite some time, but in recent months, it has garnered a large platform. AI has taken the world by storm in the past few months, and not many people know what to do with it. There has been a lot of talk about what teachers are going to do since many of their students have started to use AI to their advantage. Instead of having to sit and search the internet for information, they can rely on AI to provide them with all the information they need to complete their work, or they can simply rely on AI to do all their work for them.

So, what does this all mean for the education system? Well, honestly, it’s up to the teachers and school boards. Some teachers would rather their students not use AI at all, while others are okay if their students use AI as long as they are honest about their usage of it. Right now, it is free game for students to use because there are no rules and regulations about the use of AI.

However, despite all the fun and cool things about AI, there are also dangers associated with its use. One of the biggest concerns is the possibility of AI taking over jobs, as AI is constantly learning, changing, and growing. It’s not unlikely that it will take over future jobs and even present jobs. Something even more concerning is how AI will affect our youth. Will they grow up with AI as Gen Z has grown up with cell phones, or will they become completely reliant on what AI can do for them? While there are many good things that can come out of AI, there are also concerns and fears about what it means for the future of civilization. So what comes next for us?
