With an unexpected showing of the Winged Foot Foundation Founder, the Hillcrest Girls Cross Country Team shined at the Illiana Christian Invite. In spite of terrible conditions Desiree Wilson, Jasmine Curry and Tarena Moore earned medals and all the runners had their best day of the season.

Mitch Johnson has been sponsoring the Hillcrest Program bringing new shoes, spikes and running gear to the girls. It was great for the girls to finally meet the individual who has done so much for them.
