On Friday, November 8th Hillcrest Alum & recently published author Tashawn Blount (’16) came to Hillcrest to speak about his book and discuss bullying in schools. Part of Tashawn’s presentation covered how to connect with strangers, and that through common connections we can speak with anyone, and with just this small step we feel more obliged to stand up against bullying when we see it happen. Students from multiple classes attended the two back-to-back sessions, and a lively Q&A was held after each session.
